Introducing TALP

TALP (Time Affected Linear Processes)-based parallelization optimizes code at the atomic level for both the relevant architecture and data. It uses a proprietary form of functional decomposition to derive predictive analytics that determine the precise configuration necessary for code to run substantially faster at the machine level. Notably, the use of TALPs obviates the need for time-consuming loops to handle conditional statements, thereby slashing the space-time complexity and associated overhead of code. The result is code that runs much faster without the need for additional power, causing a substantial reduction in the power consumed per job.

Jim Holt

Mr. Holt serves as the CEO for two of C Squared’s portfolio companies, MPT and Fathym. Mr. Holt is a veteran of the technology world. He was the CEO of RF-Works, where he helped bring wi-fi to the world and spun Aironet out to Cisco. Later, Mr Holt led Acero, where he provided the computational support that helped crack the human genome. Mr. Holt gained experience in marketing enterprise software as the CMO of Computer Associates, and understands server scalability based on his leadership at Secant. Mr. Holt began his career at IBM, where he specialized in corporate intelligence and competing in the parallel processing space.
